I am a Ph.D. scholar at Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Department of Space, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. My primary research work focuses on precision agriculture with AI. The work includes use of satellite, airborne, UAVs, and in-situ Hyperspectral and Multispectral data.
Some of my recent projects are:
- Hyperspectral differentiation in organic vs. conventional cultivated crops 🌱 in multiple coexisted complex landscapes.
- Synthetic hyperspectral data generation for reference data.
- Automated mapping of vegetable crop farms in high-resolution drone multispectral imagery using ensemble machine learning modeling.
- Mapping of soil organic content using hyperspectral satellite 🛰 data.
- Deep Learning systems for time series cloud detection ☁️ using multi-sensor satellite imagery in collaboration with ISRO-NRSC Hyderabad.
- IoT and AI-enabled drone systems for crop and soil monitoring, a joint project of MietY (Gov. of India) and MMMUT-Gorakhpur.
I was born and raised in Uttar Pradesh, India, where I completed both my bachelor's and master's degrees. I pursued my undergraduate studies in Information Technology at Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT), Sultanpur, followed by a postgraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Machine Learning at the Centre for Advanced Studies, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. For more details, please refer to my CV.
